FAQ

  • Who is Barre for?

Barre is for everyone! Whether you’re new to fitness or an experienced athlete, Barre offers a low-impact yet highly effective workout that meets you where you are.

  • What do I Wear?

Wear comfortable, fitted clothes that let you move freely — like leggings and a tank — or whatever feels best to you. Grip socks are recommended for safety and support, and no shoes are needed. Just skip anything too loose so your instructor can help with proper form!

  • When should I arrive to class?

You’re welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before class begins. This gives you time to check in, get set up, and settle into the space before we start!

  • What do I bring to class?

Just bring a yoga mat — all other equipment will be provided for you! We’ll have everything you need to get the most out of your Barre workout.

  • Where do classes take place?

Classes are held at Stacey’s Studio of Dance Education, where we’re proud to partner and share their beautiful spaces.

    The address is 819 N 18th Ave E

  • Do you offer childcare during class?

We will have select classes that include childcare! Any class offering childcare will be clearly noted in the class description when you book. This way, you’ll always know ahead of time which sessions have childcare available — making it easier to plan your workout around your family’s schedule.

  • I am pregnant or postpartum, Is this something I can do?

Yes! Barre is low-impact and easily modified for pregnancy and postpartum recovery. It helps with strength, posture, and balance. Just check with your healthcare provider first and let your instructor know so they can offer safe modifications.

  • Do I need dance experience?

Not at all! Barre is inspired by ballet but designed for everyone — no dance background required.

  • Can I drop in or do I need to book ahead?

We recommend booking in advance to reserve your spot, as class sizes are limited for a more personalized experience.
